The 2015 GSE UK Conference will be held at Whittlebury Hall Conference and Training Centre and Hotel. Their modern facilities situated in the very heart of the UK, in rural Northamptonshire, provide the perfect location for the GSE UK Conference by catering for over 400 delegates and providing the 18 meeting rooms, keynote room and exhibition hall needed for our event.

Whittlebury Hall is located to the south of the small village of Whittlebury and very close to Silverstone Race Track, 14 miles from Milton Keynes and 17 miles from Northampton.
If you are travelling to Whittlebury Hall by car please use this link from the Whittlebury Hall website to obtain directions.
If travelling by rail then the nearest station is at Milton Keynes on the West Coast Line from London Euston. A taxi from Milton Keynes should take around 20 minutes and cost approximately £20.
The nearest and most convenient airport is Birmingham International. From here you can catch a direct train from Birmingham International Railway Station to Milton Keynes. If you are flying into any other UK airport the easiest and probably quickest way to Whittlebury Hall is by hire car.
GSE have negotiated special room rates with the hotel for the conference and have the entire hotel reserved for us on the Tuesday night as well as the Whittlebury Park Annex and 35 rooms at the alternative hotel, see "Overflow Hotel" for more information.
If you request hotel room(s) as part of your conference registration GSE will reserve them with the hotel on your behalf. Please note that you cannot book rooms directly with the hotel for the period of the conference; instead you can make a reservation request as part of your conference registration (see the Registration link above ). Rooms can be reserved through us for the Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday nights.
The rooms available in a nearby overflow hotel can be reserved through us in the normal way. Check in etc. will be performed at the conference venue and shuttle transport will be provided at various pre-arranged times between Whittlebury Hall and the secondary hotel. Further details of this arrangement will be available nearer the time of the conference.
Note that all hotel bookings are between you and the hotel; GSE will make the reservation for you and send you a confirmation but will take no payment. You will need to pay the hotel on checkout as with any normal booking and should you fail to turn up without prior notification you will be responsible for any charges the hotel may make.
If you should need to cancel or change your hotel booking for any reason please contact GSE Conference Admin in the first instance, ukconference@gse.org.uk (or see Contacts above) and we will liaise with the hotel on your behalf. If you phone the hotel directly they will probably not be able to help as the rooming list details are held by us.
GSE have made an arrangement with the Whittlebury Hall and the Best Western Hotel in Buckingham to enable us to offer more rooms than there are available at Whittlebury Hall. Delegates can reserve a room at this hotel through the standard registration process and check-in at the Whittlebury Hall when they arrive. There will be a regular shuttle service between the two hotels and Whittlebury Hall will keep bags etc. until the first time a delegate goes to the Buckingham hotel.
Delegates reserving rooms in the overflow hotel will automatically be placed on a waitlist should rooms in the main hotel become available because of cancellations.
Those arriving on Monday should go to the Best Western and check in there, directions at this link. Transport on Monday is your own responsibility. You can then take your transport to the Whittlebury Hall on Tuesday morning and leave it there, using the shuttle service to take you back to Buckingham according to the schedule below. Of course you are welcome to use your own transport as you see fit if you wish to travel at different times.
Those arriving on Tuesday should go straight to Whittlebury Hall where you will be able to check in for the Buckingham Best Western (directions on the conference web site under Hotel Info). Your bag(s) may be left at reception and can be collected and taken with you the first time you travel to Buckingham.
Your breakfast will be served at the Buckingham Best Western from 7 a.m. each day. Of course the usual coffee and bacon rolls will be available for those attending the "Birds of a Feather" session on Wednesday morning if preferred.

The transfer should take around 20 minutes, traffic permitting of course.
You will need to check out and pay for your room before you leave the Buckingham hotel for the last time. Those staying Wednesday night will need to take their own transport back to Buckingham at the end of the conference.
