About the Conference

Planning for the 2017 conference is underway; we will return to the Whittlebury Hall Hotel once again for two days of intensive information across a broad range of topics.

As in the last few years we will be featuring some hands-on workshops, in both multi-session and short "drop in" formats. The agenda is still being finalised so please check back from time to time to see updates.

GSE UK Member Benefits

GSE UK Members get 5 free places to attend the confernce.  This covers registration, attending the sessions throught the two days of the confernce, entry to the vendor exhibition, the conference dinner and pre-dinner drinks on Tuesday evening and lunch and refreshment breaks on both days.

For those new to the mainframe either as an apprentice or trainee each member company can request an additional free place.  There are also an additional 30 trainee free places for GSE UK Members on a first come, first served basis.  If you would like one, or more, of these places please contact ukconference@gse.org.uk

Conference Packages are available for members and non-members to purchase a package of three conference vouchers at a discounted price.

The Agenda

The agenda for the 2017 is being planned and should be available by end of June 2017.

Agenda highlights

As mentioned above the agenda is still being developed but as in previous years our plans include ;-

  • A large number of technical streams including all the usual mainframe technologies plus
    • zCMPA (Capacity Management & Performance Analysis)
    • New Technologies
    • 101, the stream for newcomers or recent-comers to z
