IMS performance and problem analysis using tools

Presentation

IMS transaction performance analysis and problem determination are critical aspects of managing your IMS environment. This session will show how:

1.        IMS Performance Analyzer measures IMS transaction response and CPU time, helping to identify poor performing transactions – using only the IMS log

2.        IBM Transaction Analysis Workbench provides a deep dive into the IMS and DB2 logs and traces to determine where and why problems are occurring – is it a DB2 or IMS problem?

3.        IMS and other related performance data can be presented on graphical dashboards in any analytics platform including Elastic or Splunk – IMS performance and resource usage metrics are now accessible and easily understood by everyone in your organization with an interest in IMS.

4.       Overview for IMS Tools News / Features and readiness for IMSV14 / V15
