NetView Access Services and IBM Session Manager have announced end of service effective September 2018 and December 2018 respectively. Bottom line, Customer's need to start planning now for CL/SuperSession ( CL/SS ), as migration is 'not a 5 minute activity'. CL/SS is a System z is a 3270 session manager that provides concurrent access to multiple applications from a single 3270 terminal.
CL/SS enables you to control application access with customised menus for specific users or groups. move between active applications with a single keystroke to increase efficiency and application management. Providing the flexibility to consolidate applications, customise user security profiles and pull data from multiple sessions. These capabilities simplify the user experience and improve productivity. Finally, a new pricing policy also 'trade ups' and offers the opportunity to save money compared to other vendors.
