Business analysts and operations support teams need to monitor the health and security of their entire end-to-end IT infrastructure and quickly isolate and address service outage and threats affecting critical applications. The challenge, however, is gaining access to and understanding the wide array of log data available on the mainframe. In this session, we will look at the different types of mainframe log data, the key performance indicators, and how to make this data available real-time in big data analytics tools such as Splunk and Elastic.
