z DevOps and “Production Ready” Testing - What does this mean and why should it be important me?

Presentation

s your organization prioritizing CI/CD or Delivery on Demand? Will z Systems ever see wide adoption of Delivery on Demand if Release and Governance gatekeepers are not confident in quality outcomes promised from Agile practitioners demanding more speed!
While most would agree that outcomes desired from DevOps Practices such as better collaboration, increased velocity, quality and automation are independent of platform or tooling, this session will explore the importance of considering current mindsets and practices more common to the mission critical nature of z platforms. We will discuss the core value of testing and what is meant by “production ready.”  We will conclude with a practical discussion of metrics and why the adoption and application of defect reporting can bring high value to an effective z DevOps Practice.
