You have heard of this thing called batch. You know its made up of hundreds or thousands, or even millions of jobs per day. You know that the running of said jobs is automated, but how? How does it do it? What does it actually automate? How can you interact with it? How does it deal with jobs that fail? What happens when the system goes down? An overview of IWSz concepts and facilities.

  • My name is Ilaria, I was born in Naples and I currently live in Rome. I began working for IBM in 2001 at the IBM Software Laboratory in Rome. I started my career in the verification department for IBM Workload Scheduler for z/OS. During these years, I have held various roles in the product development lifecycle. Since 2016 I have moved to HCL as Customer Advocate Manager for Workload Automation products. I love traveling, photography and rock music.
