In this session you will hear about how the worlds of open source and mission critical computing are colliding as more clients look to deploy open source tools and applications on platforms built for performance, scalability and more importantly security. This session will cover how clients are deploying IBM technology to underpin workloads such as Blockchain, Know Your Customer big data projects as well as core banking and payments. This high level session will cover the business challenges and how these are addressed by deploying LinuxONE technology to address the non-functional requirements posed by the applications and higher level business drivers.

In his role, he serves as a subject matter expert in advocating, evangelising and championing adoption of LinuxONE in the fast-paced Cloud and Managed Service Provider, Linux and Open Source market segments. He has spent nearly 20 years in the Information Technology industry, with considerable experience in both hardware and software platforms in: Offering Management, Marketing Specialist Sales and Client Management roles for organisations such as CA, HP and latterly for IBM.
