Java and SQL in IMS applications

(HK)

Stream: IMS
Time: 10:45 - 11:45

Presentation

The number of COBOL experts around the world is still decreasing. Young people are not interested in learning COBOL, but your business still needs new IMS applications or to develop and update old ones. We will show you how to write a Java application in IDz to access your IMS data using SQL. This session will also cover the necessary setup requirements (IMS Catalog, IMS Connect).
