Mark Howell is the pioneer of DevOps within Lloyds Banking Group. His inspirational qualities as a role model has built a new organisational culture around DevOps and the value it brings. Mark’s role as the DevOps Centre of Excellence Lead focuses on bringing DevOps to life in a meaningful way, as embedding it as part of the Group’s culture. He began by transforming the Digital Banking division through an agile and collaborative approach to development underpinned with the use of new technology. His achievements have improved and simplified the working lives of the engineering community within the Group, ultimately bringing great experiences to the Group’s 30million customers.
