z/VM Shared Segments (advanced)

.A save segment is a z/VM built-in technology used for sharing data or code in memory among multiple virtual machines. Linux running as a z/VM guest is able to benefit from this technology by mean of a specific driver.  In the first part of the presentation, we expose the shared segment technology and the way Linux can benefit from it. In a second part, we propose a use case for Linux in a demo, where the implementation of shared segments for Linux will be demonstrated step-by-step.
