A lot of CICS installations have been looking to upgrade to CICS TS 6.1. In this session, we will share the methodolgy used and experiences encountered during our upgrade in a large and diverse z/OS environment.

Rob Stroud is a Technical Lead for CICS at NatWest Group. Rob has been Chairman of UK GSE for a number of years now. Rob started as CICS Cobol Developer in 1986 whilst at Unviversity, becoming an MVS Systems Programmer in 1991 and gradually working for larger organisations and becoming more of a specialist in CICS.
