You lived through CI/CD transitioning into DevOps, DevOps coming onto the mainframe when no one thought it could and now you are seeing DevOps starting to transition to Platform Engineering. As a DevOps evangelist for Compuware/BMC, Tony Anter is responsible for showing customers the art of what is possible when it comes to Mainframe DevOps and DevOps in general. Tony has over 20 years’ experience in IT as an individual contributor, people leader and architect. In 2016, Tony was given a project to bring DevOps to the Mainframe for a Fortune 100 Credit Card Company. He then spent the next 2 years migrating this companies Mainframe applications, 500+, onto a set of modern DevOps pipelines centered around Compuware tooling.
