So you’re a GenZ mainframe-enthusiast but don’t know how Db2 should be set-up on the Z Operating System? That’s okay, neither did I until Db2 v13 went GA!
Within this session, I’ll outline my experience when installing this database software, including the main obstacles and lessons-learned that I encountered.
Attendees who are new to Db2 for z/OS will be given an overview of the systems, hear about the challenges I faced, and be shown a walk-through of the full “Db2 for z/OS v13” process, including the installation, customization, and configuration processes.

Anna works with hundreds of independent software vendors by providing the latest levels of SMPE maintenance, installing and configuring Db2 for z/OS, setting up Db2 data sharing, and providing support and consultation.
