  • Brett Quinn at DELL Technologies
  • Brett Quinn is a Distinguished Member Technical Staff in the Mainframe Solutions group within PowerMax Engineering.  Brett started his career with IBM where he was a Systems Engineer working with large systems  customers in the Boston area where he built skills in z/OS , System Managed Storage, and relational database management systems.  He has 39 years of experience in the IBM mainframe platform, the last 29 of which has been with Dell Technologies.  He has held various positions technical pre-sales support and product management, and helped establish the EMC EMEA Executive Briefing Center while on assignment in Cork, Ireland.  His area of expertise is in PowerMax advanced replication technology, where he focuses on customer requirements and application of this technology to solve complex business continuance problems. 
    Brett holds 43 patents in the area of storage replication technology and is a frequent speaker at SHARE, GSE UK, and Dell Technologies World.  He is a graduate of the Boston College with a bachelor’s degree in computer science and marketing..
