Deployed on TimeFinder SnapVX, Dell’s space-efficient volume snapshot capability, zDP provides continuous data protection for critical mainframe data. By leveraging three key components, Versioned Data Groups (VDG), Snapsets, and Target Sets—zDP enables rapid, consistent, and granular point-in-time copies of data.
