Conference Theme Nights

We encourage all attendees to participate in the themed dress-up days throughout the conference. Embrace the fun and show your spirit by dressing according to the daily themes!

Monday: Old Conference T-Shirts
Tuesday: 60's Night
Wednesday: Hawaiian Shirt

Monday, 4th November - Mainframe Merch Day
  • Theme: Wear mainframe-themed Merchandise, such as polos, t-shirts or hoodies from past conferences, or any mainframe apparel from vendors like Seven9s.
  • Tip: It's a great chance to show off your collection and connect with other mainframe enthusiasts.
Tuesday, 5th November - 1960s Throwback
  • Theme: Celebrate the mainframe's 60th birthday with a retro 1960s look.
  • Ideas: Think vintage styles such as bold patterns, mini dresses, bell-bottoms, or anything that captures the iconic fashion of the 1960s.
Wednesday, 6th November – Floral/Hawaiian Day
  • Theme: Brighten up the conference with colourful floral or Hawaiian-themed clothing.
  • Ideas: Hawaiian shirts, floral dresses, leis, and tropical patterns will all fit right in.

Participation is Encouraged but Optional: Dressing up is a fun way to get involved, but it’s entirely up to you. Whether you go all out or just add a touch of the theme to your outfit, we look forward to seeing your creativity!

GSE UK Region Supporting Worthy Causes

Every year, speakers and delegates at the GSE UK Conference donate to the charities we help.  This year is no exception and we aim to collect donations for two worthy causes: Air Ambulance UK and Muscular Dystrophy UK.

In addition to the cash and speaker gift donations, we will hold a raffle during the conference dinner, generating even more money.

Tickets will be priced at £2 per strip or £5 for 3 strips, and whatever we collect GSE UK Region will match up to a sum of £1000. So, please bring lots of £5 notes with you.  You can also donate using the link below and have your donations converted into raffle tickets in MyGSE.

We haven’t decided on the raffle prizes yet, but they will likely be fairly luxurious items.

To our already generous sponsors, we would greatly appreciate it if you would sponsor one of the raffle prizes.

We are deeply grateful for your past support and hope that you will continue to stand with us to help those less fortunate than us.
