After an introduction to the most important characteristics of the IBM z14 processor cache architecture, we will analyse in detail the counters provided in SMF 113 for z14 showing how to use them in Capacity Planning related activities.
In the second part of this presentation we will show some results of customers migration to z14 from zEC12 and z13.
