While it is interesting to understand and exploit new features in storage hardware and software products, storage managers are also required to ensure that they select and deploy products that comply with their employer's obligations such as PCI-DSS or Sarbanes-Oxley. While unglamorous, this work takes a lot of time.
This session is intended to introduce discussion of the problem between users and vendors, and to seek experiences and best practice.
