Steven is responsible for global sales of IBM’s premier Linux and Open Source platform, LinuxONE. In his role, he serves as a subject matter expert in advocating, evangelising and championing adoption of LinuxONE in the fast-paced Cloud and Managed Service Provider, Linux and Open Source market segments. He has spent nearly 20 years in the Information Technology industry, with considerable experience in both hardware and software platforms in: Offering Management, Marketing Specialist Sales and Client Management roles for organisations such as CA, HP and latterly for IBM. Steven was a founding board member, former Chairperson and now chairs the Marketing Committee of the Open Mainframe Project a Linux Foundation Collaborative Project promoting Linux on the mainframe – www.openmainframeproject.org Steven is an avid supporter of using social media tools to increase customer engagement and further awareness of IBM's LinuxONE offerings and the Editor/Curator of the www.mainframedebate.com blog site. When he's not engaging others online, he can be found cycling or corralling his four daughters to join him watching his beloved Leicester Tigers play rugby.
