This session is continuation of the previous session into the technical review of IBM z15 processor. We will also important details related to physical planning and installation, power options/changes required to accommodate the new 19'' frame layout. Cover the differences between BPA and iPDU based power options. Discuss changes coming to the Hardware Management Console; Coupling; STP; Internal Battery Feature; z15 packaging; and site tools. Look at the different frame configurations that are possible with the z15 and build an understanding of the key actions required to install a z15.
