The whirlwind nature of today's digital, app-driven economy has placed enormous pressure on mainframe Db2 DBA’s. They must review, approve and deploy a seemingly continual stream of schema changes that are being generated by application development teams practicing agile development methodologies. This session will consider how the schema-change deployment process could be streamlined, while still enabling the DBAs to provide the necessary ‘watchdog’ role and ensure continued system performance, availability and stability.
