In early 2020, IBM enhanced CICS Performance Analyzer for z/OS (CICS PA) to output CICS performance and statistics data in JSON Lines format. IBM also published a sample Splunk app for CICS PA that visualizes that data in graphical dashboards. This presentation shows how to forward JSON Lines from CICS PA to Splunk, and then analyze that data in the Splunk app. The presentation also shows how to analyze the same JSON Lines data in the Elastic Stack.
