Stream: Virtual Room 6
Time: 10:30 - 11:30
How does a cloud-native developer quickly provision and deprovision CICS regions (and other middleware) on z/OS in order to deploy and test their application?
How does a systems programmer enable self-service provisioning from private cloud platforms, and ensure
- all provisioned CICS regions conform to site standards
- the number of provisioned CICS regions does not exceed individual and/or team limits
This session will provide an overview and demonstration of IBM z/OS Cloud Broker from the perspective of two personas:
- systems programmer
- cloud-native developer
IBM z/OS Cloud Broker integrates z/OS-based services and resources into your private cloud platform for a modern cloud native experience. It is the first software product to provide access to z/OS services within private cloud platforms such as Red Hat OpenShift for consumption by the broader development community.
There is currently no attachment for CICS self-service provisioning using IBM z/OS Cloud Broker
