(1AW)

Stream: Virtual Room 1
Time: 10:30 - 11:30

Presentation

Is there anything that worries your customers more than the cost of running their workload? Have they expressed their frustration on overall CPU and IO usage consumed by transactions? In this session, you will hear some tips and tricks on how to reach a stable and manageable client environment configuration with acceptable performance. We will show you how to proactively monitor your Db2 workload using monitoring tools for z/OS. We will share our methods for identifying the bottlenecks and transactions with low performance. You will become a real fan of performance tuning when you see the cases of significant improvement that reduced the cost for the client. Most of the issues are easily surfaced once you begin to monitor them.
