Haakon Roberts is a Distinguished Engineer in Db2 for z/OS development at the IBM Silicon Valley Laboratory in San Jose, California. He is an architect for Db2 for z/OS, Utilities and Db2 Tools as well as the technical lead for the Client Success service organization. He holds several patents and is a leading expert in database management, data integrity, availability, serialization techniques and problem resolution.
