In this session we will briefly introduce what Zowe is, then look under the covers and see what components make it up and how they work together. We will then talk about how it is helping to modernise the mainframe, from helping customers embrace DevOps, to making Z more accessible for beginners.

He has worked on a variety of CICS and z/OS Tooling throughout his career and is currently a member of the Zowe Open Mainframe Project working on DevOps infrastructure, developing REST APIs for z/OS tooling and helping customers to get started with the new open source project.
