This session offers a quick overview of the components that comprise a digital certificate, how they are created and why they are valuable and must be protected. It includes a demonstration of how the ESMs enable the use , management and protection of these digital certificates. This presentation will mainly focus on what a certificate is and how they are managed on z/OS we will not cover the intricacies of TLS or certificate generation on other platforms.
