A tour of the solution to build your Hybrid cloud architecture with IBM Z. I will share the experience from several customers projects covered by a WW team of experts engaged with Red Hap OpenShift as well as those from the IBM WW Garage for Systems Centers, based in France and the U.S.
Sébastien LLaurency is an IBM Executive Architect working on Cloud & App. Modernization with IBM Z. He joined IBM in 1999. He started to work at the IBM Client Center Montpellier on First-of-a-Kind customers's projects using leading edge technology around Java, Web Services Security, WebSphere Application Server, Autonomic Computing and Tivoli Automation. He made several publications,redbooks, obtained a number of IBM products certifications and got 3 patents filed, among which one granted. He is currently working at the New Technology Center, in Montpellier, France. From the emergence of cloud computing, he continously innovate and work with the latest solutions including current Openstack or Docker/Kubernetes architectures on Linux on IBM Z. He is leading the LinuxONE Systems Cloud team in Montpellier as one of the IBM Z Advanced Technical Skills focal point in Europe. He has many years of experience on cloud computing architectures with several customers from different industries. As an Integration Architect he is looking into new and future architecture solutions around Hybrid Cloud with Red Hat OpenShift, Cognitive and Quantum Computing.Since this year, he is now leading the Global Technical Council for the WW IBM Garage for Systems Centers.
