There’s a myth that mainframe folk are set in their ways and won’t try anything new, especially if it isn’t on the green screen. You would think that would be the reason that the IZWS Dynamic Workload Console is not that widely used in the mainframe community, but the reality is, it’s a lot of effort to provision off platform hardware and skills just to be able to try it out, and then perhaps find out you don’t like it. But what if you could quickly get a Dynamic Workload Console up and running in less than an hour on your own PC, just by following a few simple instructions? This session will show you how to quickly get a DWC installed under Docker on your own laptop really quickly, with just a few commands to type in.
