The mainframe market is facing different challenges from different angles. So called disruptive events. Those events have consequences for different departments, teams and programs within a company and data center.
In my session in 2017, we have looked at how decentralized servers changed the handling of a TWS/z installation.
This time I want to pick off the changes that have arised from the technical and social impacts we all have seen over the last years.
Main focus will be:
- enhancing IWS/z to perform more workload
- enabling scheduling in open world, inlucing cloud services
- keeping an overview and control of your workload, despite home office or outsourced services
To overcome and even grow with these challenges, I want to share what we think are the major points to look out for and what we as Beta can offer.
