Bernd (Josi) Jostmeyer is a Software Architect, working since over 25 years in the IBM Lab located in Boeblingen (Germany). Starting as developer he worked the most time in the area of Application Automation and High Availability. He has knowledge with many different IBM automation solutions - including System Automation on different platforms, Runbook Automation and currently is working for IBM Z System Automation. In his current position he works on the "Journey to Cloud" for the Mainframe Automation portfolio and was engaged in multiple different DevOps and ChatOps related projects - with main interest of integrating the monitoring, analytics and automation capabilities of the Mainframe to a hybrid cloud world.
