Why visibility and surgical recovery is needed for true cyber resiliency

(3BJ)

Stream: Virtual Room 3
Time: 17:00 - 18:00

Presentation

With cyber attacks continuing to grab headlines, many enterprises are looking to develop air-gapped cyber vault solutions to provide the ability to resume business in the event of an incident that compromises their most important asset - data. Identifying the scope of the incident, which data sets are affected, and the ability to surgically recover the right backup can drive up the time required to recover, impacting revenue and the reputation of the business.
To adopt a viable cyber resiliency strategy, businesses need the information that enables them to decide and act in a timely fashion. In this session, we'll detail and demonstrate capabilities that aid administrators of a cyber vault or backup solution to simplify their processes through a full data set inventory and health check, generate the appropriate JCL to surgically recover the data set, and quickly identify any dependent jobs or other data sets that are impacted.
