Data Gate: Current and Consistent Db2 for z/OS Data on any Cloud

(4AV)

Stream: Virtual Room 4
Time: 14:00 - 15:00

Presentation

Data Gate is the simplest, fastest and most resource efficient way to provide a read-only copy of your Z data on Cloud for your modern applications that operate on Z data.
Its factors faster than anything we know, its Db2 for z/OS parts run almost exclusively on zIIP and once installed, it takes 3 clicks to create and synchronize a table with the Cloud.
This presentation introduces IBM Data Gate for Db2 for z/OS, how it works, and how it can be used to modernize applications that access Db2 for z/OS. We will also go over a quick tour of the user interface and how Z data can be accessed with a demo application.
