Here is an intro to the world of z/OS Parallel Sysplex. Why would someone would want to build a parallel sysplex?  What is the technology that comprises the sysplex? This session will include and overview of Couple Data Sets (CDS), XCF signal paths, Coupling Facilities (CF), and time synchronization with Server Time Protocol (STP). Join us as we learn how to pull this together to achieve business goals, particularly the delivery of highly available business services. Whether you are a business professional or a technical pro, you'll leave with a solid grasp of sysplex concepts, terminology and capabilities.
