z/OS BCPii provides a powerful way for z/OS applications to automate and control the operations of Z hardware. Now, BCPii has taken another big step forward! Come to this exciting presentation to learn about REST-enabled BCPii, a new BCPii function delivered on top of z/OS 2.4 that will: unlock many IBM Z hardware functions/attributes for BCPii applications immediately; provide an infrastructure for BCPii to instantly have new hardware functions/attributes available when new IBM Z hardware is delivered, and; provide a new, simpler, and more intuitive REST programming model for applications to leverage BCPii functionality.
