IBM Z customers are faced with twin challenges - how can they take advantage of all that the hybrid cloud offers in the cloud-native era, while modernizing applications and protecting their investments in mission-critical data on IBM Z. Over the last year, Red Hat and IBM together have brought a broad portfolio of new software to IBM Z - from the latest version of Red Hat OpenShift and its add-ons - to containerized software through IBM Cloud Paks - to integration software linking OpenShift with IBM z/OS subsystems and applications. In this session, we will look at the common use cases for Red Hat OpenShift on IBM Z, including faster applications through co-location with data, developer velocity through cloud-native tools, and secure platforms for ISV applications - and will amplify these use cases with discussion of new customer case studies. We will show that IBM Z together with Red Hat can empower enterprises to innovate at scale and with security in the hybrid cloud, and discuss the next steps for customers interested in evaluating Red Hat OpenShift on iBM Z.
