As an open-source software provisioning, configuration management, and application-deployment tool for Distributed Servers, Ansible has been available and used for almost a decade. Now that Mainframe is able to leverage this technology, the landscape of playbooks has the potential to grow exponentially. In this session we will showcase a series of new mainframe collections, their role in implementing automation for a wide palette of use cases, and how Ansible for Mainframe can help achieve goals associated with Infrastructure-as-Code initiatives.
