V13 is the first new release of Db2 since 2016 and it represents a step change in terms of new capability. This session will tell you what you need to know about all the new key features delivered in this release including new SQL semantic query support, as well as major improvements in critical areas such as availability and scalability along with changes to the installation and migration process itself.
There is currently no attachment for Db2 Version 13 for z/OS: Technical Overview.
Haakon Roberts is a Distinguished Engineer based at the IBM Silicon Valley Laboratory in San Jose, California. He is CTO for IBM z Data & AI, architect for Db2 for z/OS, Utilities and Tools and technical lead for the Db2 service organization. He holds several patents and is a leading expert in database management, data integrity, availability, serialization techniques and problem resolution. He is a regular speaker on these and other topics.
