Whilst most of Db2 development has been focused on V13, the utilities team has continued to deliver major improvements in APARs in V12 that you can take advantage of today. This session will cover what’s new in utilities in both V12 and now in V13 of Db2.

Haakon Roberts is a Distinguished Engineer based at the IBM Silicon Valley Laboratory in San Jose, California. He is CTO for IBM z Data & AI, architect for Db2 for z/OS, Utilities and Tools and technical lead for the Db2 service organization. He holds several patents and is a leading expert in database management, data integrity, availability, serialization techniques and problem resolution. He is a regular speaker on these and other topics.
