Rakesh is an IBM Certified Technical Specialist Thought leader and zStack Principal Client Architect in UKI market. He has recently moved from IBM Singapore where he was part of Competitive Project Office lead Researcher mainly focussing OpenShift on IBM Z competitive research studies. Rakesh has been with IBM a little over 13 years and performed various roles in various business units. Started in IBM Technology Support Services managing the IBM Z software and hardware services in India South Asia market. Then moved on to take management position in India Software Development labs leading Linux on Z test and Development team. Following this became a customer advocate for enabling IBM Z customers in Asia Pacific geography including DHS Australia, Blue Power Technologies Indonesia, HDFC Bank India, Reserve Bank of India Rakesh has a total industry experience around 25 years and during this period he has worked for IBM and multiple customers in Australia, India, Singapore, Switzerland and United Kingdom. Rakesh is actively involved in IBM Z Tech Vitality programs and ITSO Residency programs.
