We all know that the best queue is an empty queue. But clearly there will be times when application outages lead to messages building up on queues.
In this session we discuss how deep a queue can go, and things to think about when planning for deep queues.
Doug Burns is a senior software engineer working in the IBM MQ Service team at IBM Hursley. He has over 25 years experience of providing customer support for IBM products on z/OS, including CICS and MQ. He has a broad problem determination skill-set, ranging from configuration and application issues to performance analysis and product defects.
