Understanding and administering IMS is complex to say the least. Come see the new web browser interface that is shared with Db2 which will make the experience of understanding and administering your IMS environment much easier and allow you to become proficient more quickly. We will also cover automation for monitoring of IMS databases to understand reorg and recovery issues, allowing you to easily visualize the issue and proactively manage your IMS databases.

Tracy Dean is an IBM Product Manager, responsible for z/VM Tools and IMS Tools. With over 37 years of Z experience, she works with customers worldwide to understand their pain points and drive development teams to address their needs.
Ron is a Distinguished Engineer and Principal Architect for Rocket Software, a global developer of software products, and is responsible for the design, development, and support for several products primarily in the IMS space. He has worked with IMS for over 30 years and for the past 26 years has been involved in the design, development, and support of a range of IMS tools. He has been involved in the development of database reorganization utilities, data propagation tools, database monitoring and analysis solutions, data replication and backup and recovery products. Ron is based in Austin, TX, USA.
