What ties different mainframe components together and identifies them as one business application? Strategies ranging from naming conventions to connection type encoding are widely used, but how does this look in practice? And what is the difference between various application types?
Tomas Pavelka is a software architect with 13 years of experience in the mainframe space. He focuses on mainframe modernization, performance monitoring and orchestration. He currently works on Broadcom Mainframe Topology, a product that helps users understand the complex hardware and software landscape of today’s data centers.
Tomas holds a PhD in machine learning.
