Break the silos and create a collaborative AIOps experience for IBM Z with IBM Z ChatOps

(BN)

Stream: Catalunya
Time: 11:45 - 12:45

Presentation

Make use of chat-based operations through IBM Z ChatOps to identify and resolve incidents quicker and more collaboratively by receiving alerts from your IBM Z environment in popular collaboration platforms like Slack, Microsoft Teams, or Mattermost and by using a chatbot to access Z systems management information from your enterprise chat platform.

Learn how the new Z ChatOps 1.1.2 release now also integrates with IBM Z Workload Scheduler in addition to the already existing integrations with Z System Automation, Z NetView, and OMEGAMON.

Furthermore, the Z chatbot can now be used to take corrective actions on connected z/OS systems by issuing z/OS system commands or System Automation actions from the chat tool - of course including proper user authentication and authorization.

Also, learn about the simplified architecture, new deployment capabilities and how Zowe is leveraged.

In this session we will highlight the exciting new capabilities and provide a technical deep-dive including a demo.
