With the goal of extracting data this talk will go through basic socket client/servers written in rexx.
The session will begin with a very quick run through of the TCP/IP client server model.
The sceanrios will be demo'd live with explanation of the code.
This assumes the user cannot use IND£FILE, FTP(and secure FTP), SMTP or any other data transfer solution and that TSO commands such as netstat and hometest are restricted.
