Gabriel Guth-Kaltschmied: Technical Solutions Consultant for z/OS Performance | Gabriel has been working in IT for almost 25 years. Kim Mortensen is a BMC Solution Engineer with focus on Performance - currently being the practice lead of the BMC Compuware performance Team in EMEA Kim has more than 30 years of experience in the IT industry. Starting as a mainframe Cobol developer back in the mid 80’, moving on to the booming Business Intelligence market of the 90’ and getting back into z/OS and System programming working with Db2 for z/OS. Kim is now working with major companies around the world focusing on Performance and cost reduction
I am a BMC Solution Engineer with focus on Performance. I joined Compuware May 2020 coming from the second largest swiss bank. I have more than 20 years experience in IT and all the time on the Mainframe. I started my IT career in the Airline Industry as a junior System Controler. During 7 years i could grow up to a shiftleader. Changing to the banking business but still in IT and the Mainframe aera, I continued to grow. First in batch controlling, then changing from operation to application development. After 2 years of PL/1 development I came back to the infrastructure side as Test System Manager. Finaly I ended up as performance manager driving the production systems to the business peaks and responsible for WLM as well. I ike to dig into SMF Records and look for tuning potential on customers Data.
