Stuart McMillan is a Business Process and Technology advisor based in the UK. He dedicates himself to demystifying commercially-valuable emerging technologies as he guides his clients through the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
Stuart has spent significant time leading projects internationally across both public and private sectors to optimise business processes. He is a practitioner of various methodologies from Lean and Six Sigma to end-to-end Business Process Management, applying his skills to unlock significant value in organisational processes.
Having co-founded two organisations dedicated to assisting organisations in designing their digital future, he focuses on leveraging technology to unlock value orders of magnitude larger than simple process optimisation and reengineering alone.
He achieves this by bridging the language gap between commercially-focused business leaders and technologists to balance the Could You / Should You debate around the technical viability and commercial feasibility of technology implementations to improve business processes.
He possesses a wealth of experience from working with notable clients across Global Manufacturing (Cummins Inc., DS Smith, AB InBev), Global Technology (Signavio, IBA Group), UK Public Sector (Buckinghamshire County Council, Metropolitan Police), UK Private Sector (Ageas, Dyson), UK DB & DC Pensions (Cummins UK), and Islamic Finance (Islamic Development Bank).
Stuart partners with his clients, typically co-locating to ensure success along their digitalisation journey on initiatives such as; Target Operating Model design, digital strategy, and alignment of people and processes. Working together toward a shared future vision characterised by robust governance, data integrity, and operational redesign - Ultimately implementing a technologically augmented workforce.
