An increasing number of enterprises are transitioning to AI-first. AI adoption and AI capabilities in organizations have doubled since 2017*. AI is a hot topic and enterprises are evaluating its use in a business context. To do this they are asking a number of questions, including: How do we leverage our existing investments in applications and data as we deploy AI? How do we leverage models fairly and with governance as we build trust and transparency? How do we embed AI efficiently in time-sensitive, mission-critical business operations?

Elpida Tzortzatos is an IBM Fellow and CTO AI for IBM zSystems. During her IBM career, Elpida has driven industry-leading infrastructure innovation into the zSystems platform. Her achievements have influenced every layer of the IBM zSystems stack, contributing to many products and enhancements driving significant customer value. Her current responsibilities include leading the AI strategy for IBM zSystems focused on infusing AI into business-critical workloads.
