Encrypting the RACF database: A demonstration and some considerations

(NM)

Stream: Security
Time: 10:15 - 11:15

Presentation

RACF has recently announced the capability of encrypting the RACF database. In this session we examine some of the implications behind this announcement with respect to ensuring the recoverability of systems following some kind of failure.

This session will also include two live demonstrations of moving a system to an encrypted RACF database; one with an IPL and one without.
